We have had some warm days so unusual in February for us. My SIL had to go to Bloomington Monday so I went along. Then we popped over to Nashville and the stamp store. You just can't pass up a chance to go when you're that close! I only bought some new colors of alcohol inks since I had so much fun with the shaving cream technique. I'm hoping to get to use them this week.

The card today is just a fun card. I love the new SU set called Hey, Chick. That's all I used for this card, along with a strip of pattern paper that was a snippet. The embossing folder is called Cricut Cuttlebug and the button is from my button box. The circles were cut with Spellbinders. Be kind to one another.

OMGosh, I know! It's been very warm here too for this time of year. The birds think it is spring, the dog thinks it's spring, I think it's spring, but know it could be a cruel joke by Mother Nature! But the warm temps are supposed to go until Sunday, then back down to the high 40's which is still warmer than normal and then back up into the 50's. My allergy's tell me it is spring. lol I love this set too as that chick just cracks me up! Your card is adorable Brenda. I didn't know Cricut's Cuttlebug came out with a "chicken wire" embossing folder, I love it! And I love it on your card!!! Hugs, Brenda
PS-Working on your stacking layers my friend, hope to send them soon!

I'm glad you got out and enjoyed that unseasonably warm weather, Brenda, cuz I think winter is moving back in there this weekend. Bummer, but it's to be expected. We are having some welcome sunshine after all that rain, but the temps are back down to freezing. Your chickie card is a hoot! You've really created a fun design with that perfect e/f!! Love and hugs, Darnell

So glad you got to visit a nice store and have a browse. Just not the same as shopping on line, is it? I'm loving how you're using this silly chick. He looks grand on the embossing (like chicken wire!) and always love a button embellie. Perfect snippet card. Enjoy the warm weather when you can. TFS & Hugs
